At Genting Casinos, we passionately believe that our customers should enjoy gaming in an atmosphere of respect, responsibility and professionalism.

Working with partners such as GamCare and GambleAware (formerly Responsible Gambling Trust), we ensure we can respond effectively and quickly to customer needs and concerns and that all our customers feel safe, protected and respected.



We invest significantly in staff recruitment and training and believe that our greatest asset is our employees.

We are fully committed to developing our people to the best of their abilities. We make sure that we equip them with the right tools and training to take on bigger role.




Wherever we have a casino, we are an integral part of that local community.

This means being a responsible corporate citizen and minimising any impact our business may have on our neighbours.

This includes controlling noise, minimising disturbance to local residents and properly maintaining our buildings.

It is also about how we can support local communities. Our staff engage with and fundraise for local charities.

We encourage them to identify local causes that they want to support and that have a positive impact locally and in wider society.

This action is strongly supported by Genting in various ways so we can all make a positive and lasting contribution to our local area.

Since opening Resorts World Birmingham, we have concentrated on very local causes and have adopted LoveBrum as our official charity partner.

We are particularly aligned with this organisation because it supports grassroots initiatives across a range of different causes.

Resorts World Birmingham also works closely with Solihull, the local authority, supporting them with inward investment activity, particularly in China.

We often make the facilities at the resort available to them to host visiting delegations. 

We are active members of the Solihull Tourism Forum which is a group of leisure-related businesses working together to promote the area.  We are also members of Marketing Birmingham and  Shakespeare’s England and will host local groups such as the local Rotary branches.



As a major casino operator we are vigilant and aware that we must always minimise our impact on the environment.

We achieve this by having robust and progressive systems and procedures that cover how we operate our business.

We continue to work to identify and source sustainable and effective ways to minimise energy consumption and our fuel efficiency.

All of our casinos work hard to ensure we operate effective waste management and recycling. We are passionate about identifying products and services from sustainable sources.

We have always believed that it is the responsibility of the corporate and individual citizen to play their part and we make every effort to ensure we protect our environment for our local communities and beyond.
